For school-based SLPs
You take the data. SteadySLP drafts the note, charts the goal, and starts the progress report.
Plan on your computer. Run the session on your iPad. Finish with your documentation already underway.
SteadySLP keeps the day-to-day clinical work of school-based speech therapy connected from planning through documentation. Build your schedule and prepare sessions on your computer, then open them on your iPad to present materials, collect goal data, and track service time, even without Wi-Fi.
After the session, SteadySLP uses the data you recorded to prepare draft notes, update progress charts, and begin progress-report summaries for you to review. Your schedule, service minutes, unfinished notes, and IEP and reevaluation timelines stay organized along the way.

Know what needs your attention today
The Today page puts your day in order: who you’re seeing, what you’re working on, upcoming IEP and reevaluation dates, service minutes, and notes that still need your attention.
Your weekly calendar shows each session at its scheduled time and length. When your schedule changes, drag to move or resize a session.
Open any session to review the students, goals, materials, and previous notes before therapy begins.
Plan sessions on your computer
Before the session starts, choose the students, goals, and materials you need from your computer.
Previous notes and attached materials are available within the session, so you can quickly see where you left off and what you planned to work on next.
When it’s time for therapy, open the planned session on your iPad. The students, goals, and materials you selected are ready to go, without rebuilding the session or searching for what you need.

Run the session on your iPad: no paper data sheet required
Session Mode is where you carry out your plan. Record responses, accuracy, prompting, cueing, and other goal-specific data on your iPad as the session happens.
In a group, move between students with a swipe so you can track each student’s data without losing your place.
No Wi-Fi? Keep going. Your session information saves on the iPad and syncs when you reconnect.
An optional session clock tracks service time as you work. Choose which students are receiving minutes and adjust the recorded time when needed.
Whether you provide pull-out, push-in, group, or individual services, you decide which students’ service minutes to record.

One iPad, not two
Keep digital worksheets, picture cards, and probe lists in SteadySLP and attach them while planning the session on your computer. When you open the session on your iPad, the materials are already there.
Tap a material to open it, then turn the iPad toward the student. Student View displays the material across the whole screen without showing your roster, session controls, data, or information about other students.
When you’re ready, return to Session Mode and continue taking data on the same device.
Prefer physical materials? Keep using what already works for you while SteadySLP handles the data collection.

Finish the note while the session is still fresh
When a session ends, SteadySLP uses the data you recorded and any text you entered to prepare a draft session note.
Review and edit the draft, then sign it when it accurately reflects the session. Nothing is final until you sign it.
Unsigned notes stay organized by day, so you can quickly return to anything you didn’t have time to finish.

Progress reports from data you already collected
SteadySLP graphs each goal’s data against its target and prepares a draft progress summary using the data you collected throughout the reporting period.
Review and edit the draft before using it.
When reports are due, each student’s progress is already organized. You can see the data, the trend, and the draft summary without rebuilding the reporting period from scattered notes and paper data sheets.

Your district’s IEP system stays the system of record
SteadySLP does not replace EdPlan, Embrace, PowerSchool, Goalview, or your district’s IEP platform. It does not write IEPs, bill Medicaid, or submit state reports.
It supports the clinical work that comes before those systems: session planning, data collection, service minutes, notes, progress monitoring, and progress reports.
Finished documentation can be formatted for your district’s system, ready to copy over without retyping. SteadySLP keeps track of what you have already entered so you can see what still needs your attention.

Import your caseload
Import students and goals from a spreadsheet, or upload an IEP as a PDF or Word document.
SteadySLP extracts the goals for your review. Each proposed goal appears alongside the source text it came from, and anything the system could not read is clearly flagged.
Nothing is added to your caseload until you review and approve it.
